I am co-Director of Change Britain, a cross-party campaign set up to help make a success of Brexit. Last year I took a sabbatical from my business to work for Vote Leave. I previously worked as an advisor to David Cameron (2006/7), co-founder and Chief Executive of Open Europe (2005) and as Chief Executive of a sequence of independent and / or cross-party campaigns: Business for Sterling, the No (euro) campaign, Vote 2004 and Vote No (1998-2005).
I have also spent time working as a journalist and for the EU in the Balkans (1994-95), for an NGO in sub-Saharan Africa (1996-98), and set up businesses in London (2007 – ) and New Delhi (2010 – 2012).
I live with my family in a village on the edge of Salisbury Plain. I enjoy planting trees (<1,000) and hedges (2km and counting).
