After I left university I got a job as a journalist in Sarajevo, then caught in the middle of a civil war between Bosnian Serbs and Muslims. After Sarajevo I headed for Albania. And when I got home I wrote a book about it.
It is a youthful book, full of enthusiasms and indulgences, and it is poorly edited, but I like to think it paints some good pictures. You can buy it here.
